Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and NAAC

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Williamnagar Government College plays a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of education and institutional processes. Established in line with the guidelines of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), the IQAC at Williamnagar Government College strives to create a robust framework for improving the academic, administrative, and infrastructural aspects of the institution. The cell is committed to ensuring that the college maintains high standards in teaching, research, and community engagement, fostering a culture of continuous development.

One of the primary functions of the IQAC is to promote quality initiatives across various departments and programs. This includes conducting workshops, seminars, and training sessions for both faculty and students to enhance teaching methodologies, and overall institutional effectiveness. The cell regularly evaluates the college's performance against set benchmarks, monitors the implementation of best practices, and supports the development of new strategies for academic excellence. It also facilitates the college’s participation in accreditation processes and assists in preparing the institution for external assessments.

In addition to academic improvements, the IQAC of Williamnagar Government College also focuses on enhancing the administrative and infrastructural framework of the institution. The cell works closely with the administration to streamline processes, ensure better resource utilization, and improve student services.
