Educational Tour

"I hear, and I forget; I see, and I remember, I do, and I understand,"

Understanding the importance and benefits of Educational Tours for students besides classroom teaching-learning and gaining first-hand experience, the institution constituted the Educational Tour Committee on November 2011 from among the institution's faculty members. Moreover, the Government of Meghalaya has been sanctioning funds for students' Exposure trips from time to time. In addition, the concerned departments of the college also organise local study tour programs to benefit the students.

Students gain a better perspective of the world by going on educational tours as they experience new things by coming in contact with new places, people, and cultures, which in turn prepares them for facing challenges in their future professions. In addition, the overall experience of the educational tour provides an opportunity for learning and self-experience through travel, exposure, especially to places they may not otherwise visit.
