General College Norms

Students are required to attend a minimum of 75% of the total classes taken during an academic year/session, failing which they forfeit the chance to appear in the Final examinations of the college.
Students must not be absent from class or any other important programme organized intended for their welfare without valid reasons. A leave of absence countersigned by parents/guardians must be produced on the first day of his/her return.
An identity card will be issued to each student and should be brought to the college daily.
Mobile phones are not to be used within and outside the classroom.
Students should not litter the compound with chewing gum, chips packets or unused papers and plastics. Empty plastic bottles and any unused items should be thrown in the garbage bin or basket kept for the purpose.
Smoking, drinking/consumption of alcohol and drugs are strictly prohibited in the college campus.
Ragging is a punishable crime. Any student/group of students caught indulging in ragging or intimidation of any sort will be expelled forthwith. As per U.G.C. Rules every student is now required to register themselves online with anti-ragging commitment.
Communal harmony is to be preserved and fostered by words and deeds. Students found engaging in activities which are detrimental to the college shall be liable for immediate expulsion from the college.
All the above rules are binding and anyone found violating any of these rules, appropriate action will be taken against him/her.

All students, both boys and girls should come to the college in decent and clean dresses.
Boys should not wear short pants and hair should be cut short.
They also should not wear earrings, T-shirts with objectionable/vulgar words printed on them.
Girls should not wear short pants, low-necked tops/blouses, transparent or very short and tight-fitting dresses.
They should not wear face rings, nose rings and lip rings.
