Any individual or organization or collective producing goods and services for the market is considered an entrepreneur. Having said that, there is a need to understand the different categories of entrepreneurs and enterprises in the state to truly appreciate their specific requirements and needs to grow and thrive as a business.
Due to the fact that the professors, teachers and lecturers have a close relationship with the students, it is of utmost importance that those faculty will facilitate the aspiring entrepreneurs to a certain level. Therefore, the College has constituted an Entrepreneur and Vocational Committee on the 20th October 2022.
Entrepreneurship and Vocational ecosystem in the College acts as spokes that can give basic guidance and pre-incubation support to students who want to start their own business.
The Committee will support students having innovative ideas to start their own business through different agencies like The Prime Hub which was launched/inaugurated by the government of Meghalaya on 21st Jan'20.
